Peter Grothe was also able to achieve a good 3rd place and therefore made it onto the podium. He’s planning to defend his place in future runs.
The biggest surprise was to see Leon Schweers reaching a sensational 5th place. Leon only just began to land-board and this was his first contest.
All pilots had chosen a “Montana V” for their heats and by that, seem to have made the choice for a winners kite. Especially in periods of low winds which were scattered over the weekend, the “Montana V” was able to show its strengths.
After some discussions in terms of decision making, Yannick was able to achieve 3rd place for racing.
